Five College ABD Fellowship Program

The Five College Fellowship Program provides a year in residence at one of the campuses for graduate students who have completed all requirements for the doctoral degree except the dissertation (ABD). The chief goal of the program is to promote diversity in American higher education by enabling more scholars of underrepresented groups and/or unique interests, experiences, or histories to embark on an academic career with their doctoral degree completed. The selection of Fellows is carried out by the hosting institution, where the Fellow will reside within an academic department, and be provided by the hosting campus with a stipend, office space, and other benefits.
