American Indian Studies Research Showcase

On May 14th, 2025, American Indian Studies held a student Research Showcase. Eight students presented their AIS-related research.

Students had presented topics ranging from Treaty Rights, Indigenous people in film and storytelling, and data sets all the way to a students Indigenous family member.

We had a welcome and opening remarks by Dr. Mary Jo Fox, AIS, Tessa Dysart, Assistant Vice Provost , and Amy Kimme Hea, PhD, Senior Associate Dean.
